Donnie Kovar
Donnie has an Associates degree
from Blinn Junior College and has been guiding whitetail and turkey
hunts on a part-time basis with MGS for 11 years. He also guides
pronghorn antelope hunts in New Mexico. Donnie is currently a Plant
Operator for DCP in Sonora, TX. He is licensed in New
Mexico and also certified in First Aid. |

J.P. McGuire
J.P. is currently working for the
San Angelo Police Department, and is going on 29 years with the Law
Enforcement. He guides whitetail, turkey and predator hunts part
time for MGS and has been with Magnum for the past 9 years. J.P.
also guides pronghorn antelope hunts in New Mexico. He is licensed
in New Mexico and also certified in First Aid. |

Gerald Farris
Gerald is retired from the
Killeen Independent School District after teaching and being a
truant officer for 29 years. Gerald has worked part-time with MGS
for the past 9 years guiding a variety of species, including deer,
turkey, exotics and predators. He guides antelope hunts in New Mexico and has traveled to Alaska
and hunted brown bear and caribou, as well. Gerald is also an exceptional cook, specializing in
homemade pies. He is licensed in New Mexico and also certified in
First Aid. |

Casey Kovar
Casey is currently a student at Angelo State University studying
business. Casey has guided many successful hunts for MGS for the past 10 years.

Russ Wagner
Russ lives in Pennsylvania where he owns and operates Top Calls, which sells Quality Handcrafted Game Calls. He was crowned Pennsylvania’s State Turkey Calling champion in 1985. Top Call products have been used successfully in the field and on the calling competition stages across the United States. Russ has been guiding spring turkey hunts with Magnum Guide Service for the past 12 years. Russ also guides whitetail hunters for MGS in Texas along with MGS antelope hunters in New Mexico . |

Neil Grant
Neil graduated from Southwestern
University and is the owner of The Outdoorsman, a West Texas
sporting goods store. He has guided spring turkey hunts for MGS for
the past 12 years and has 3 young boys and a daughter that love the outdoors as
much as Neil does. He is licensed in New Mexico and also certified
in First Aid. |

Craig graduated from firefighting academy at Texas A&M in College Station, TX. He currently lives in Snook, TX and works for Saint-Gobain Corporation. Currently guides whitetail and turkey for MGS. Craig is a volunteer fire fighter in his local community. |

Mark George
Mark was born and raised in San Angelo and has worked for Verizon for the past 29 years. He is married and has 2 sons who love to hunt and fish as much as Mark does. Mark has joined the Magnum Team to be a part of the 2007 whitetail season.

Donnie Mathis
Donnie has worked as a Federal Game Warden at Ft Hood, TX for the past 23 years. He has been a guide for the Ft Hood Whitetail Deer hunt program for 34 years and has guided part time for Magnum for the past 8 years during our turkey season, as well as the New Mexico antelope hunts. Donnie is a certified scorer for whitetail deer, mule deer and antelope for the Texas Big Game Awards Program. He has been in the outdoors hunting or fishing all of his life and really enjoys guiding.

Clay McClure
Clay is from a respected New Mexico ranching family. His passion is pursuing whitetail deer, elk, mule deer, turkey and predators with both gun and archery equipment. He is a licensed New Mexico Hunting Guide and will be guiding hunts for Magnum in both Texas and New Mexico. Clay has completed a professional guide school in Montana, is currently CPR certified, and an Eagle Scout. He is working towards a college degree in Wildlife Management. In addition to being a qualified outdoorsman, he is also a seasoned cook. Clay is very personable and enjoys giving others the opportunity to hunt big game. |

Louis Stoffberg
Louis Stoffberg was raised in the Mpumalanga province of South Africa. It was here that he developed his passion for hunting the "bush" of Wild Africa. From an early age, Louis would join his father on frequent Safaris, all the while learning more and more about the African wildlife. Years later Louis successfully graduated from the Rand Afrikaans University where he attained his B.Sc. (Hons.) degree. For several years he worked in the Agricultural research and development industry but his mind was always on safari! Louis decided to make a career change and soon tested and qualified for his "South African Professional Hunter License." It was then Zingeli Safaris was established and Louis could follow his true dream of hunting and guiding professionally. Since then Louis has personally hunted and guided many successful safaris for most African species of big game including lion, leapard, cape buffalo, elephant and rhino. His talent and passion for the hunt, along with his genuine appreciation of nature, enables him to provide his clients an unforgettable African experience. Louis is also a licensed and accredited tour guide with a keen interest in African history, native cultures along will all species of native wildlife found in Southern Africa. Louis is an avid re-loader, both fresh and salt-water fisherman, and enjoys archery hunting. Louis is the proud father of two children and husband to wife Danica. |

Andres Fothy
Andres Fothy grew up in Buenos Aires, Argentina where he lives today with his wife and daughter. He grew up hunting and fishing in many areas of Argentina and Patagonia. In 1999 Andres began professionally guiding bird hunters for another guide service. For the next five years he guided up to 120 goose and duck Hunters per season. In 2003 Andres established his own guide service "Argentina Safaris" which caters to Argentina bird hunters with sightseeing side trips for non-hunters. He specializes in providing traveling Hunters with incredible dove, duck, goose, and pigeon hunting with incredible service and attention to detail. Andres has joined the Magnum Team and will be helping with the April spring turkey season in Texas then returning to Argentina for the bird hunting season. |

Danica Stoffberg
Danica Stoffberg was born in Johannesburg, South Africa. After attaining her Masters Degree in Botany, she qualified as an educator teaching Biology at a senior level. Two years ago she was appointed Deputy Principal. a position she still holds. This has provided her with experience in management and acquired her many organizational skills.
She shares a love of nature and the African bush with her husband and supports him in his love for hunting. This makes them a good working team. She organizes the administrative office and is involved in the logistical planning and arrangements for each hunting safari. She oversees the catering and approves the selected menus. She also arranges any additional activities for partners and family during and after the hunt. Danica places emphasis on exceptional service with a personal touch. Louis and Danica have been happily married since 1992 and together have two children, Steffen and Rachelle.

Caroyln Kiesz
Carolyn currently lives in Christoval, TX. She moved from Long Beach, CA in 2005 and has worked in medical offices for 30 years. Carolyn loves to cook, read and enjoys meeting new people. She is an excellent cook and a wonderful addition to the Magnum Team.

Corie Williams
Corie joined the Magnum Team as our office intern, 2008. Corie assists Magnum with various computer and office tasks. She was born and raised in Eldorado and is currently a Senior at Eldorado High School. She plans to attend Texas Tech University after she graduates and is a pleasant asset to the Magnum office.

Barbara Arendt
Barbara currently lives in Eldorado, TX and joined the
Magnum Team
during the 2007 spring turkey season. Barbara is a
certified massage
therapist, as well as the secretary for the First Baptist Church. She enjoys cooking for her family and
spending time with her three
grandkids. She is active with the
Angel Food Program and the local "Brushy Top Cowboy Church".

Michelle Wagner
Michelle traveled to Texas
on her vacation to help out in the kitchen during the
2006 spring turkey season. Michelle lives in PA and is also
married to the owner of Top Calls, Russ Wagner. We

Vicki currently lives in Rocksprings, TX and is
originally from San Antonio, TX. Vicki has been a part of the Magnum Team for the

2 old goats!

Cynthia Davis
Cynthia recently retired from Imagecraft Exhibits after 25 years as office manager and bookkeeper. She is now very active in volunteer work, counseling four granddaughters, and hunting and fishing with her husband, she has found "that maybe work was not so bad!" Meeting new friends, entertaining and a great love for cooking make Cynthia a perfect fit for the Magnum Team. |

Mike Davis
Mike is President and part owner of Imagecraft Exhibits in Austin, Texas. Although busy with sales and daily chores, he still finds time for hunting and fishing. He recently became a licensed New Mexico Hunting Guide and will be guiding hunts for Magnum in New Mexico for pronghorn antelope. His outdoor adventures have taken him to Alaska, Wyoming, New Mexico and of course, Texas. Many days have been spent with MGS hunting whitetail and mule deer, elk, bear, turkey, ducks and geese. With a fondness for outdoor cooking and entertaining new friends, Mike has found a place with the Magnum Team.

Dora Arispe
Dora started working for Magnum in
October, 2005 and is in charge of cleaning and maintaining all of
the lodges. Dora also helps Melony in the kitchen and takes very
good care of all the animals while we are away. She is a native of
Eldorado, TX, has 3 sons and 1 daughter and is a Registered
Childcare Provider. |

Marielena Escobar
Marielena started working part-time for
Magnum in October, 2005. She is in charge of lawn maintenance,
assists with maintaining all of the lodges and is also does some
cooking. Mary has been working at the Schleicher County Medical
Center for the past 9 years as a cook's helper and has 2 sons. |
