Birds were still in big flocks. Not really broken up and looking to mate just yet. Gobbling on the roost was strong but weak after fly down. Primarily feeder birds called in with the "yellow yelper." 140% success for 10 hunters (14 gobblers). Several blown opportunities but that's why they call it "hunting." The largest bird went 25 lbs on the scales. Longest beard 10 1/2 inches with 1 1/4 spurs. Two bobcats seen during the hunt along with one fox. One bobcat had killed a 2 yr old doe whitetail and was feeding on it! Cool. One 4 ft rattlesnake caught live and frozen for a hunters taxidermist to mount! Good ridance......

My plans for future hunts include Kudu, Sable, Blue and Black Wildebeest and Waterbuck. All large African animals. There are other animals I want to hunt but these are the biggest. Do you think I should get a 338 Ultra Mag? I know shot placement is the most important thing.
