NGWARATI SAFARIS AFRICA was founded by Deon & Gigi, John & Michelle. Who all share the same passion: ”HUNTING”.
When thinking of a name for this company, all the thoughts were regarding the noblest of antelope species in Africa, the Sable. It is a stately and fiercely proud animal that seems to own the bush.
Deon Van Niekerk
Deon’s passion for hunting started since he was a little boy, growing up in the bushveld area in the Limpopo Province. Deon has been hunting professionally for the last 18 years and has guided numerous clients on dangerous and plains game safaris. You are sure to obtain good trophies and have a memorable experience.
John & Michelle Ralph
John and Michelle live in Kansas, U.S.A. and represent Ngwarati Safaris Africa. Africa captured their hearts and they have been hunting in Africa for several years now. Being experienced hunters & travelers be sure to call them for any advice & questions you have.
Gigi van Niekerk
Gigi is married to Deon & is also the hostess at NGWARATI SAFARIS AFRICA. She has 10 years restaurant experience to her name & will be overseeing to all the comforts you require on your Safari
Pieter Kriel
Pieter grew up in what was previously known as Rhodesia, today known as Zimbabwe. During the height of the war his parents emigrated to
South Africa. It is perhaps these early experiences that kindled his love of the land. Pieter is a firm believer of sustainable utilization of natural resources, thereby ensuing that hunting will be preserved for future generations. Pieter holds a degree in Anthropology. He is a qualified, registered and practicing photographic safari guide, also known as a tour guide.
Michael W. Schmidt.
Michael was born and raised in Pretoria.After finishing his high school,mandatory military service in the Artillery Corps kept him busy for two years. After finishing his studies in the electronics field, Michael started his own business in the IT industry. For the last 17 years this has been his livelihood. Having been in a major motorcycle accident, Michael now is the Administrator in charge of the office at Ngwarati Safaris Africa. His knowledge and friendliness makes him a huge asset to our company.
